(G′/G)-expansion method equivalent to the extended tanh-function method

Physica Scripta, 2010
Very recently, Wang et al (2008 Phys. Lett. A 327 417–23) proposed a method, namely the (G′/G)-expansion method, for constructing multiple travelling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations arising in mathematical physics. They believe that the (G′/G)-expansion method is a new method and more travelling wave solutions of many nonlinear ...

A New Modified Extended Tanh-Function Method and Its Application

Communications in Theoretical Physics, 2004
In this paper, a new modified extended tanh-function method is presented for constructing soliton-like, periodic form solutions of nonlinear evolution equation (NEEs). This method is more powerful than the extended tanh-function method [Phys. Lett. A277 (2000) 212] and the modified extended tanh-function method [Phys. Lett. A285 (2001) 355].

Analysis to Some Solutions Obtained by Modified Extended tanh-Function Method

Communications in Theoretical Physics, 2010
First, two tanh-coth type solutions of a class of nonlinear wave equation are derived by using a simplified modified extended tanh-function method. Then, further analysis to some tanh-coth type solutions of nonlinear evolution equations are given. The results show that when balance number m is one or two, the tanh-coth type solutions obtained by the ...

Optical solitons of Biswas–Arshed equation in birefringent fibers using improved modified extended tanh-function method

Optik, 2021
Abstract In this paper, the optical solitons in birefringent optical fibers without four-wave mixing is addressed with the Biswas–Arshed equation. Dark, bright and singular solitons are obtained by using improved extended tanh-function method. Varieties of other traveling wave solutions are also formulated with this method.

Modified extended tanh-function method and its application on nonlinear physical equations

Physics Letters A, 2006
By means of computerized symbolic computation and a modified extended tanh-function method for constructing multiple traveling wave solutions of nonlinear physical equations is presented and implemented in a computer algebraic system. Applying this method, we consider some of nonlinear equations of special interest in physics namely, the Broer-Kaup ...
