This paper retrieves, bright, dark and singular optical solitons with the help of extended trial equation scheme. We consider Kerr law, power law and log law of nonlinearity. We find the solutions in terms of Jacobi elliptic functions and in the limiting cases of the modulus of ellipticity.

Traveling wave solutions by extended trial equation method
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2013This paper obtains soliton solutions, rational function, elliptic integral function F solution and Jacobi elliptic function solution by using the extended trial equation method based on the complete discrimination system for polynomial method. It is seen that this method is an effective mathematical tool for nonlinear differential equations.

Extended Trial Equation Method for Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations
Zeitschrift für Naturforschung A, 2015Abstract The main objective of this paper is to use the extended trial equation method to construct a series of some new solutions for some nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) in mathematical physics. We will construct the solutions in many different functions such as hyperbolic function solutions, trigonometric function ...

A multiple extended trial equation method for the fractional Sharma-Tasso-Olver equation
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2013In this paper, a multiple extended trial equation method is proposed to seek exact solutions of nonlinear time-fractional equation. The validity and advantages of the proposed method are illustrated by its application to the Sharma-Tasso-Olver equation.

Nematicons in liquid crystals by extended trial equation method
Journal of Nonlinear Optical Physics & Materials, 2017This paper employs extended trial equation method to retrieve nematicons in liquid crystals from its governing equation. In addition, several other forms of solution naturally emerged from the integration algorithm. These are shock waves, singular solitons, snoidal waves, periodic singular waves, plane waves and others.

Optical solitons with Biswas-Arshed equation by extended trial function method
Optik, 2019Abstract This paper studies soliton dynamics for Biswas-Arshed model that is considered when group velocity dispersion is negligibly small and self-phase modulation is totally absent. Two nonlinear forms for the model are studied by the aid of extended trial function scheme. Bright, dark and singular soliton solutions emerge from this scheme.
