Using Reaktoro for mineral and gas solubility calculations with the Extended UNIQUAC model
The extended UNIQUAC model is a thermodynamic model able to estimate thermodynamic properties of aqueous electrolyte solutions under a wide range of temperature, pressure, and composition conditions. Thermodynamic properties include species activity coefficients, excess molar Gibbs energy, excess molar enthalpy, excess molar heat capacity.

Thermodynamic Modelling of Mdea(Aq)-Nh3(Aq)-K2co3(Aq)-Co2(Aq) Using the Extended Uniquac Model
The development of advanced processes for carbon dioxide capture requires reliable thermodynamic models to ensure accurate process design. This work presents an optimized parameter set of the Extended UNIQUAC model for advanced mixed solvent solutions containing CO2-MDEA-NH3-K2CO3 in water.

Experimental Validation of Modeling Approaches Describing the Crystallization of Pure Triacylglycerides and Their Mixtures: A Review. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Lipids are essential macronutrients, with the ability to solubilize and enhance the uptake of specific micronutrients (e.g., vitamins A, D, E, and K). Solid fats provide desirable texture and palatability to food products, making them a key ingredient for food and particularly bakery products, ice cream, or confectionery.

Modeling and Characterization of Liquid Vapor Equilibrium of N-methyl-1,3-Propanediamine for CO2 Capture - Using the Extended UNIQUAC Framework [PDF]
In this work the loaded MAPA system has been thermodynamically characterized. This was done by measuring the phase- and chemical equilibrium in the laboratory, as vapor - liquid - equilibrium data. A thermodynamical model that was based on the extended UNIQUAC activity coefficient framework was used in an attempt to model these data.

Multiplicities in thermodynamic activity coefficients
Abstract Thermodynamic activity coefficients play an essential role in the description of phase equilibria, which are fundamental to the simulation and optimization of all separation processes. Although it is known that multiplicities with respect to binary interaction parameters can occur, no systematic study of these multiplicities has been ...

Abstract BACKGROUND As a result of the ban on whaling, there has been a shortage of spermaceti, a natural product with applications in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. A green and sustainable process for the biocatalytic synthesis of a wax ester mixture analogue to natural spermaceti is presented in this paper.
