Extensions of Lipschitz Maps

2011
The main part of this chapter deals with the theory of Lang and Schlichenmaier [LSchl-2005] devoted to Lipschitz extensions of maps acting between metric spaces. The theory gives a uni_ed approach to most previously established results of this kind which now become consequences of the main extension theorem established in [LSchl-2005].

ON THE EXTENSION OF EQUIVARIANT MAPPINGS

Mathematics of the USSR-Sbornik, 1975
It is proved that a metric space with a homeomorphism of prime period is an equivariant extensor for metric spaces with -dimensional complement if and only if the space itself and the set of fixed points of the homeomorphism are homotopically connected and locally homotopically connected in dimension .Bibliography: 9 titles.

HOLOMORPHIC EXTENSION OF MAPPINGS OF COMPACT HYPERSURFACES

Mathematics of the USSR-Izvestiya, 1983
Let M be a compact strictly pseudoconvex hypersurface in \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\), \(n\geq 2\). Every holomorphic map \(H: M\to M\) can be extended to a holomorphic map on the domain bounded by M. But does there exist a domain in the exterior of M such that every holomorphic map \(H: M\to M\) can be extended to it?
