ABSTRACT Neuroblastoma is the most common extracranial solid tumor in early childhood. Its clinical behavior is highly variable, ranging from spontaneous regression to fatal outcome despite intensive treatment. The International Society of Pediatric Oncology Europe Neuroblastoma Group (SIOPEN) Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Specialty Committees ...

ABSTRACT Chemotherapy‐induced peripheral neuropathy remains a major complication in pediatric cancer, with disrupted somatosensory and nociceptive processing being a key aspect. This review synthesizes empirical studies on alterations in somatosensory and nociceptive processing in children and adolescents with cancer.

Two Generalized Common Fixed Point Theorems Involving Compatibility and Property E.A.
We prove two generalizations: the first to Das and Naik’s theorem for a pair of compatible maps without continuity; and the next as an extension of our first result to three self-maps on a metric space X without compatibility, under a stronger ...

ABSTRACT Primary lung carcinomas and bronchial carcinoid tumors (BC) are very rare malignancies in childhood. While typical BC and mucoepidermoid carcinomas are mostly low‐grade, localized tumors with a more favorable prognosis than in adults, necessitating avoidance of overtreatment, adenocarcinomas of the lung are often diagnosed at advanced disease ...

Hedgehog frames and a cardinal extension of normality
The hedgehog metric topology is presented here in a pointfree form, by specifying its generators and relations. This allows us to deal with the pointfree version of continuous (metric) hedgehog-valued functions that arises from it.

A cultivated planet in 2010 – Part 2: The global gridded agricultural-production maps
. Data on global agricultural production are usually available as statistics at administrative units, which does not give any diversity and spatial patterns; thus they are less informative for subsequent spatially explicit agricultural and environmental ...

Extensions and dilations of module maps [PDF]
We study completely positive module maps on $C^{*}$-algebras which are $C^*$-module over another $C^*$-algebra with compatible actions. We extend several well known dilation and extension results to this setup, including the Stinespring dilation theorem and Wittstock, Arveson, and Voiculescu extension theorems.

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Semi-Centralizing Maps and k-Commuting Maps of Module Extension Algebras
We investigate the structure of semi-centralizing and kcommuting maps of module extension algebras. In particular, we give conditions that every semi-centralizing and k-commuting map L of such an algebra is of the form L(c) = cx + h(c), where x lies in

Numerical simulation of chaotic maps with the new generalized Caputo-type fractional-order operator
This work considers a new generalized operator which is based on the application of Caputo-type fractional derivative is applied to model a number of nonlinear chaotic phenomena, such as the Oiseau mythique Bicéphale, Oiseau mythique and L’Oiseau du ...
