Clinical Course and Impact of Breaks in Therapy for Children With Relapsed/Refractory Solid Tumors
ABSTRACT Introduction Pediatric relapsed or refractory (R/R) solid tumors carry a dismal prognosis, and postrelapse patient experiences are not well described. We present postrelapse outcomes, including number of R/R events and subsequent therapy regimens.

On the extension of positive maps to Haagerup noncommutative $L^p$ -spaces
Let M be a von Neumann algebra, let $\varphi $ be a normal faithful state on M and let $L^p(M,\varphi )$ be the associated Haagerup noncommutative $L^p$ -spaces, for $1\leq p\leq \infty $ .

Atrial low voltage areas: A comparison between atrial fibrillation and sinus rhythm
BACKGROUND: Atrial fibrosis can promote atrial fibrillation (AF). Electroanatomic mapping (EAM) can provide information regarding local voltage abnormalities that may be used as a surrogate marker for fibrosis.

Bilipschitz extensions of maps having quasiconformal extensions
We consider bilipschitz maps \(f: A\to \mathbb R^ n\), \(X\subset \mathbb R^ n\). We show that if \(n\neq 4\) and if \(f\) has a quasiconformal extension to \(\mathbb R^ n\), then \(f\) has also a bilipschitz extension to \(\mathbb R^ n\). Thus, for example, \(f\) has such an extension whenever \(X\) and \(fX\) are quasiconformal spheres.

ABSTRACT Background Neuropsychological complications may impair the qualitative prognosis of patients with pediatric brain tumors. However, multifaceted evaluations cannot be conducted in all patients because they are time consuming and burdensome for patients.

Algebraic entropy of endomorphisms of M-sets
The usual notion of algebraic entropy associates to every group (monoid) endomorphism a value estimating the chaos created by the self-map. In this paper, we study the extension of this notion to arbitrary sets endowed with monoid actions, providing ...

Implementing Health‐Related Quality of Life Assessment in Pediatric Oncology: A Feasibility Study
ABSTRACT Background There is growing interest in embedding health‐related quality of life (HRQoL) assessment and patient‐reported outcome measures (PROMs) within clinical cancer care. This study evaluated the feasibility, acceptability, and usability of implementing an electronic PROM (ePROM) platform to measure HRQoL in children with cancer ...

ABSTRACT Background Parents of children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience significant caregiver burden and disruption to their well‐being. While parent quality of life (QoL) during treatment is well characterized, little is known about outcomes during early survivorship.

Remarks on Extensions of the Himmelberg Fixed Point Theorem
Recently, Jafari and Sehgal obtained an extension of the Himmelberg fixed point theorem based on the Kakutani fixed-point theorem. We give generalizations of the extension to almost convex sets instead of convex sets.
