An Extension Principle for Fuzzy Logics
Mathematical Logic Quarterly, 1994AbstractLet S be a set, P(S) the class of all subsets of S and F(S) the class of all fuzzy subsets of S. In this paper an “extension principle” for closure operators and, in particular, for deduction systems is proposed and examined. Namely we propose a way to extend any closure operator J defined in P(S) into a fuzzy closure operator J* defined in F(S)

An Extension of Rayleigh's Principle
International Journal of Mechanical Engineering Education, 1994Steidel's extension of Rayleigh's method for calculating the natural vibrational frequencies of mechanical systems with two degrees of freedom provides an elegant method to obtain exact results. In the present article this approach, which perhaps has not been exploited as much as it could be, is first reviewed and then several examples of the ...

Entropy variation in extension principle
IEEE SMC'99 Conference Proceedings. 1999 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (Cat. No.99CH37028), 2003Two types of fuzzy sets are considered in this paper. One is "hill shaped" and the other type is "bell shaped". The formulas are proposed by which the entropy relationship between the original fuzzy set and the mapped image fuzzy set based on the extension principle can be obtained easily and directly.

SOME PRINCIPLES OF EXTENSIVE READING
2021At the present time, reforms in the sphere of higher education in the country are being carried out under the leadership of the President. We can see this as an example of the adoption and implementation of the Strategy of Action on the five priority directions of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021.

AN EXTENSION OF THE SUBSE UENCE PRINCIPLE
Studia Scientiarum Mathematicarum Hungarica, 2000We prove ha any tigh sequence of random variables con ains a subsequence which satis .es,after any permu a ion of its erms,a large class of limit heorems valid for i.i.d.random variables. This extends a basic heorem of Aldous on subsequence behaviour.

The Principles of Scalp Extension
The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, 1994This article is written to help the reader understand the physical principles behind scalp extension. A review of the history and physiology of scalp extension is first discussed. The newest form of scalp extension is then reviewed and a series of equations developed by the author are analyzed to help the reader understand what is really occurring ...

Extensions of Banach's Contraction Principle
Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization, 2010Let A and B be nonempty subsets of a metric space. As a non-self mapping T: A → B does not necessarily have a fixed point, it is of considerable interest to find an element x that is as close to Tx as possible. In other words, if the fixed point equation Tx = x has no exact solution, then it is contemplated to find an approximate solution x such that ...

Extension Principle and Fuzzy Numbers
2009In the traditional multi-attribute decision analysis, there is a well-defined problem-solving model–the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This model can be formulated as follows. Let A1, A2, ..., A n be n alternatives and C1,C2, ..., C m m attributes with the corresponding weights w1, w2, ..., w m respectively.
