Differential Protection of Main Transformer of Doubly-Fed Wind Farm Based on Current Synthesized Vector Trajectory Characteristics

open access: yesZhongguo dianli
During the fault ride-through process of the doubly-fed wind farms, the short-circuit current provided by the wind farm side exhibits frequency deviation, which leads to errors in the Fourier algorithm based phasor extraction.

Secret External Encodings Do Not Prevent Transient Fault Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Contrarily to Kerckhoffs' principle, many applications of today's cryptography still adopt the security by obscurityparadigm. Furthermore, in order to rely on its proven or empirical security, some realizations are based on a given well known and widely used cryptographic algorithm.

Transient Behavior of High-Interaction MHD Generator Following External Loading Faults [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Nuclear Science and Technology, 1983
Transient behavior consequent to external loading faults is studied numerically on four configurations of high-interaction MHD generators-subsonic Faraday, supersonic Faraday, subsonic diagonal and supersonic diagonal, to provide a variable data base to serve in selecting the type of large-scale MHD generator.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

Patient‐specific pharmacogenomics demonstrates xCT as predictive therapeutic target in colon cancer with possible implications in tumor connectivity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Mutation Testing as a Safety Net for Test Code Refactoring

open access: yes, 2015
Refactoring is an activity that improves the internal structure of the code without altering its external behavior. When performed on the production code, the tests can be used to verify that the external behavior of the production code is preserved ...

On-line transformer condition monitoring through diagnostics and anomaly detection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This paper describes the end-to-end components of an on-line system for diagnostics and anomaly detection. The system provides condition monitoring capabilities for two in- service transmission transformers in the UK.

Predictors of response and rational combinations for the novel MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665 in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...

Transient upsets in microprocessor controllers [PDF]

open access: yes
The modeling and analysis of transient faults in microprocessor based controllers are discussed. Such controllers typically consist of a microprocessor, read only memory storing and application program, random access memory for data storage, and input ...
