Comminuted fractures of the proximal phalanx in horses: A multicentre retrospective review

open access: yesEquine Veterinary Education, EarlyView.
Summary Background Comminuted fractures of the proximal phalanx (CFPP), defined as the presence of three or more major fracture fragments, present difficult management challenges. Multiple Intramedullary and Skewer Pin Fixation for Complex Humeral and Femoral Fractures in Cats and Small‐Breed Dogs

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 5, September 2026.
Multiple intramedullary and skewer pin fixation provided satisfactory radiographic healing and functional outcomes in complex humeral and femoral fractures of cats and small‐breed dogs.
