Quantum Electrodynamics on background external fields [PDF]
The quantum electrodynamics in presence of background external fields is developed. Modern methods of local quantum physics allow to formulate the theory on arbitrarily strong possibly time-dependent external fields. Non-linear observables which depend only locally on the external field are constructed.

Abstract Dynamin 1 is a GTPase protein involved in synaptic vesicle fission, which facilitates the exocytosis of neurotransmitters necessary for normal signaling. Pathogenic variants in the DNM1 gene are associated with intractable epilepsy, often manifested as infantile spasms at onset, developmental delay, and a movement disorder, and are located in ...

Subordinated Langevin Equations for Anomalous Diffusion in External Potentials - Biasing and Decoupled Forces [PDF]
The role of external forces in systems exhibiting anomalous diffusion is discussed on the basis of the describing Langevin equations. Since there exist different possibilities to include the effect of an external field the concept of {\it biasing} and {\it decoupled} external fields is introduced.

Mexican consumers' attitudes toward irradiated and imported apples
Abstract This study centers on analyzing Mexican consumers' willingness to pay (WTP) for imported US fresh apples subjected to irradiation, contrasting it with the more prevalent postharvest chemical treatments. We collect data using a survey tool in Qualtrics designed to explore the impact of information dissemination through two distinct narrative ...

Supply chain risk in grain trading: Inventories as real options for shipping grain
Abstract Integrating trading and logistics is an important challenge in commodity trading. Trading and logistics are strategic decisions and are integral to most commodities including grain shipping by rail, in addition to other modes (barges, ocean shipping). There are substantial risks, such as the ordering and placement of rail cars.
