Using corrugated tubes in external molten salt receivers [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2019
CFD models have been used to show the potential of using corrugated tubes instead of smooth tubes at a solar thermal receiver using molten salt as heat transfer fluid. The results were compared on the basis of a 700 MWth receiver. Absorber tubes with an inner diameter between 32.8mm and 70 mm using a helical ribbed structure have been analyzed.

Research of weak signal detection based on super‐regenerative chaotic oscillator

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2022
Under certain circumstances, chaos will occur in the super‐regenerative receiver. The gain of the receiver reaches the maximum and the receiver is immune to the external noise in this case. The concept of super‐regenerative chaotic oscillator is proposed,

Stress analysis of external molten salt receiver [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2018
Commercial solar thermal power plant projects using central receivers with molten salt as a heat transfer fluid are dominating the market. Due to the complex load situation, especially the inhomogeneous heat flux distribution, the receiver components are subjected to complex thermo-mechanical loads.

Study on External Power Receiving Planning of Receiving-end Grid in AC/DC Hybrid Background [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2021
Based on the practical experience of power grid planning, the general characteristics and main problems of the receiving-end grid are summarized, and the ideas and methods of external power receiving planning are put forward. Combined with the current situation, the pattern of power supply and demands of a typical recipient power network in China, this

Optimizing Solar Parabolic Trough Receivers with External Fins: An Experimental Study on Enhancing Heat Transfer and Thermal Efficiency

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
Several researchers have shown that the heat transfer performance of solar parabolic trough (SPT) receivers may be improved by increasing their surface area or by adding internal fins to the tubes.

Micronucleus frequencies in groups receiving external or internal radiation

open access: yesIndian Journal of Nuclear Medicine, 2016
In the current study, we aimed to explore whether there is alteration between pre- and post-treatment micronucleus (MN) frequencies induced by internal and external ionizing radiation. The study enrolled a total of 67 patients including patients admitted to our hospital for treatment of hyperthyroidism (n = 17), scanning with low-dose I-131 (n = 15 ...
