Elephant‐skin‐inspired crack networks are programmed in porous diatomaceous earth (DE)‐cement composites using substrate‐guided, stress‐concentration induced fracture. The resulting crack lattices act as capillary conduits that redistribute water, while the porous matrix stores moisture.

Distributed space scales in a semilinear reaction-diffusion system including a parabolic variational inequality: A well-posedness study [PDF]
This paper treats the solvability of a semilinear reaction-diffusion system, which incorporates transport (diffusion) and reaction effects emerging from two separated spatial scales: $x$ - macro and $y$ - micro.

Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.

Long-Term Effects of External Sulfate Attack on Low-Carbon Cementitious Materials at Early Age
Placed in a sulfate-rich environment, concrete reacts with sulfate ions, influencing the long-term durability of reinforced concrete (RC) structures. This external sulfate attack (ESA) degrades the cement paste through complex and coupled physicochemical

Intramolecular FRET Cascades Enable Small Efficiency Roll‐Off in Solution‐Processed OLEDs
This work highlights how an intramolecular FRET design strategy in solution‐processable MR‐TADF emitters enables narrowband emission, high PLQY, and efficient exciton harvesting. The resulting hyperfluorescent solution‐processed OLEDs reach up to 20.7% EQEmax with minimal efficiency roll‐off even at 10 000 cd m−2, demonstrating strong potential for ...

Antibody drug conjugates deliver their cytotoxic anti‐tubulin or topoisomerase I inhibitor payloads to tumors through cancer cell receptor targeting. The released drug payloads induce cellular changes that interact with radiotherapy resulting in radiosensitization that improves cancer cell kill and stimulates anti‐tumor immune responses.
