The Extragradient Method for Convex Optimization

In this chapter we study convergence of the extragradient method for constrained convex minimization problems in a Hilbert space. Our goal is to obtain an e-approximate solution of the problem in the presence of computational errors, where e is a given positive number.

A doublestep extragradient method for solving nonintrinsic problems of linear programming, variational inequalities, and some related problems is presented in the article.
