Occurrence and prognosis of extranodal lymphomas
Cancer, 1972A series of 1,467 Caucasian patients with non-disseminated lymphomas of extranodal origin was taken from data collected by the End Results Group of cancer registries in the years 1950-1964. Excluding Hodgkin's disease, about one fourth of the lymphomas reported arose in sites other than lymph nodes.

Imaging of Extranodal Genitourinary Lymphoma
Radiologic Clinics of North America, 2016The genitourinary (GU) system is commonly affected by disseminated lymphoma. Rarely, lymphoma can originate from and remain localized to one of the GU organs and thus presents as primary extranodal disease. Up to 40% of lymphomas present as extranodal disease, with only 3% having the GU system as the primary site of involvement.

1579 ymphoma, mainly non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, may be extranodal in origin in approximately 40% of patients. Extranodal involvement may also be due to regional spread of nodal disease or hematogenous dissemination [1]. FDG positron emission tomography (PET) imaging has been shown to be an important technique for both staging and follow-up of nodal and ...

Primary Extranodal Lymphoma of the Thorax
Radiologic Clinics of North America, 2016Primary pulmonary lymphomas represent a pathologically heterogeneous group of disorders that often share imaging features, which include peribronchovascular nodules and masses or areas of nonresolving consolidation. Primary mediastinal B-cell lymphoma is an extranodal non-Hodgkin lymphoma seen in younger patients that has imaging and pathologic ...

Seminars in radiation oncology
Primary extranodal lymphomas, a heterogeneous group of diseases of diverse etiology, pathogenesis, pattern of presentation and outcome, account for up to 20% of all malignant lymphomas. The gastrointestinal tract is the most common presenting site, but virtually every extranodal location has been reported.
