Green Solvent Enabled Perovskite Ink for Ambient‐Air‐Processed Efficient Inkjet‐Printed Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores an eco‐friendly solvent with 1,3‐dimethyl‐2‐imidazolidinone for developing perovskite ink, enhancing grain size and formation of purer phase perovskite. The inkjet‐printed perovskite solar cells demonstrated a remarkable improvement in device power conversion efficiency from 14.6% to almost 17.8%, highlighting sustainable innovation

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Mass, Measurement, Materials, and Mathematical Modeling: The Nuts and Bolts of Extrapolation

open access: yesSpreadsheets in Education, 2011
A simple activity is described which is appropriate for any class dealing with measurement. It introduces students to the important scientific process of mathematical modeling and online collaboration. Students, working in groups, determine the mass of a

Influence of Hysteresis on Magnetocaloric Performance at Cryogenic Temperatures: A Tb3Ni Case Study

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The existence of an inverse magnetocaloric effect in metamagnetic materials at cryogenic temperatures is investigated using multiple methods. Contrary to predictions from magnetization data, neither specific heat nor pulsed‐field measurements show such a cooling effect, instead indicating irreversible heating.

Extrapolation Merging: Keep Improving With Extrapolation and Merging

open access: yes
Large Language Models (LLMs) require instruction fine-tuning to perform different downstream tasks. However, the instruction fine-tuning phase still demands significant computational resources and labeled data, lacking a paradigm that can improve model performance without additional computational power and data.

Composition and Resulting Band Alignment at the TiO2/InP Heterointerface: A Fundamental Study Combining Photoemission Spectroscopy and Theory

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The chemical composition and band alignment are systematically investigated at the TiO2/InP heterointerface. Thin TiO2 films are deposited by ALD on atomically ordered, P‐terminated p‐InP(100). By combining UPS, XPS, and ab initio molecular dynamics, the atomistic structure and electronic alignment are revealed.

Spatial extrapolation of light use efficiency model parameters to predict gross primary production

open access: yesJournal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems, 2011
To capture the spatial and temporal variability of the gross primary production as a key component of the global carbon cycle, the light use efficiency modeling approach in combination with remote sensing data has shown to be well suited.

Matrix extrapolation algorithms

open access: yesLinear Algebra and its Applications, 1997
AbstractExtrapolation algorithms are used for accelerating scalar or vector sequences. They are also used for solving systems of linear and nonlinear equations. These algorithms are expressed in terms of a ratio of two determinants, as the E-algorithm and the general recursive projection algorithm (grpa).
