Disconnected Topology Space

open access: yes, 2018
A more general definition of extremally µ-disconnected generalized topological space [3] is introduced and its properties are studied. We have further improved the definitions of generalized open sets [1] and upper(lower) semi-continuous functions ...

Solvent‐Free Thermal Defect Engineering in Molecular Frameworks With Volatile Linkers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Thermal removal of neutral volatile linkers enables precise and solvent‐free generation of metal vacancies in MOFs. This strategy affords redox‐stable, coordinatively unsaturated FeII sites with tunable spin, ligand coordination, and catalytic behavior. The approach offers a general route to design defect‐functional materials through local coordination

On Fuzzy F’ - Spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper, the concept of fuzzy F^'-spaces is introduced and studied. Several characterizations of fuzzy F^'-Spaces are established. It is established that fuzzy perfectly disconnected spaces are fuzzy F^'-Spaces. The conditions for a fuzzy basically

Not all 𝜎-complete Boolean algebras are quotients of complete Boolean algebras

open access: yes, 1992
In Shelah’s model of no Borel lifting of the measure algebra we show that there is a σ \sigma -complete Boolean algebra of cardinality 2 ω {2^\omega } that is not a quotient of a ...

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

Projective Elements in Categories with Perfect θ-Continuous Maps

open access: yes, 1981
In 1958 Gleason [6] proved the following :THEOREM. In the category of compact Hausdorff spaces and continuous maps, the projective elements are precisely the extremally disconnected spaces. The projective elements in many topological categories with ...

Evidence for Itinerant Ferromagnetic Flat Bands Producing Large Transverse Responses

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Itinerant ferromagnetic flat bands are demonstrated in GdCo5 with a high Curie temperature of 940K, a stacked honeycomb–kagome lattice, through angle‐resolved photoemission spectroscopy and magneto‐thermoelectric measurements. These topological flat bands generate large Berry curvaturte, producing gigantic anomalous Nernst effect with record‐high ...

An Extension of the Concept of the Order Dual of a Riesz Space

open access: yes, 1967
Let L be a σ-Dedekind complete Riesz space. In (8), H. Nakano uses an extension of the multiplication operator on a Riesz space into itself (analagous to the closed operator on a Hilbert space) to obtain a representation space for the Riesz space L.

Self‐Powered Flexible Triboelectric‐Gated Ion‐Gel Transistor for Neuromorphic Tactile Sensing and Human Activity Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.
