Pivot-Point Procedures in Practical Travel Demand Forecasting [PDF]
For many cities, regions and countries, large-scale model systems have been developed to support the development of transport policy. These models are intended to predict the traffic flows that are likely to result from assumed exogenous developments and

Targeting Supramolecular Active Complexes of Nav1.7/Nav1.8 to Relieve Chronic Neuropathic Pain
In mice and patients with severe chronic neuropathic pain (NP), Nav1.7, Nav1.8, TrkB, and five cytoskeletal proteins form supramolecular active complexes (SMACs) with polygonal lattice structures as noxious signal amplifiers in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons.

Bias correction and bootstrap methods for a spatial sampling scheme
Motivated by sampling problems in forestry and related fields, we suggest a spatial sampling scheme for estimating intensity of a point process. The technique is related to the 'wandering quarter' method.

This review surveys nanoparticle‐based strategies to enhance adoptive cell therapy, particularly CAR‐T cell approaches, in solid tumor treatment. It describes how nanoparticles can improve tumor immunogenicity and T‐cell infiltration while reducing toxicity, and how they enable in vivo CAR‐T cell generation.

Whole‐genome analysis of 1,054 chickens reveals three ancestral sources (NWC, SYA, and SHF) with distinct temporal entry patterns into the Tibetan Plateau. Route‐specific selection scans, calibrated against a demographic null, suggest complementary functional enrichments—vascular homeostasis (NWC), calcium signaling and cardiac adaptation (SYA), and ...

Stable solutions of linear systems involving long chain of matrix multiplications
[[abstract]]This paper is concerned with solving linear system (I(n) + B(L) ... B(2)B(1))x = b arising from the Green's function calculation in the quantum Monte Carlo simulation of interacting electrons.
