Nanotherapies for Atherosclerosis: Targeting, Catalysis, and Energy Transduction
Atherosclerosis management is hindered by poor drug targeting and plaque heterogeneity. Nanotechnology overcomes these barriers via three core strategies: (1) target‐engineered nanocarriers that achieve lesion‐specific precision via ligand modification, biomimetic camouflage, stimuli‐responsive release, and self‐propelling nanomotors; (2) catalytic ...

xx xx. ABSTRACT Stimuli‐responsive nanomaterials capable of spatiotemporal control over drug release are of nanocomposite patch (“e‐Medi‐Patch”) engineered from biodegradable polycaprolactone (PCL), graphene nanoplatelets, and a redox‐active therapeutic, niclosamide. The hierarchical composite integrates π‐π interactions between aromatic drug molecules

Thermal Processing Creates Water‐Stable PEDOT:PSS Films for Bioelectronics
Instead of using chemical cross–linkers, it is shown that PEDOT:PSS thin films for bioelectronics become water‐stable after a simple heat treatment. The heat treatment is compatible with a range of rigid and elastomeric substrates and films are stable in vivo for >20 days.

Chemical drivers of ozone change in extreme temperatures in eastern China.
Science of the Total Environment, 2023Surface ozone pollution has become the biggest issue in China's air pollution since particulate matters have been improved in the atmosphere. Compared with normal winter/summer, extremely cold/hot weather sustained several days and nights by unfavorable ...

Extreme temperature electronics
2004 IEEE Aerospace Conference Proceedings (IEEE Cat. No.04TH8720), 2004In this paper a new class of electronic devices, called solid state vacuum devices (SSVDs), is presented and discussed with the primary focus aimed toward extreme environment applications. SSVDs, due to their intrinsic high temperature operation and radiation hardness, should be extremely well suited for extreme environments that exist both on Earth ...

Resilience Analysis and Cascading FailureModeling of Power Systems under Extreme Temperatures
arXiv.org, 2020In this paper, we propose an AC power flow based cascading failure model that explicitly considers external weather conditions, extreme temperatures in particular, and evaluates the impact of extreme temperature on the initiation and propagation of ...
