Time‐Resolved Magnetization Switching Dynamics Driven by Orbital Torques

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Du et al. reveal nanosecond magnetization switching driven by orbital currents using time‐resolved Hall detection. The measurements separate domain nucleation from domain wall propagation and show that Joule heating strongly assists switching by lowering energy barriers.

Flash Assembloids: A Rapid Biofabrication of a Platform for Modeling Early Glioblastoma Invasion at the Glioblastoma–Brain Organoid Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a bioengineered assembloid (ASM) system combining glioblastoma (GBM) cells in oxidized alginate (OA) microgels with dorsal organoids (DOs). This model simulates brain tumor‐host interactions, revealing enhanced GBM invasion, altered gene expression, and aggressive infiltration patterns, demonstrating ASM as a valuable platform for ...

Rescue and Extrication Characteristics Associated with Morbidity and Mortality Following Road Traffic Collisions: A Systematic Scoping Review

open access: yes
Purpose Rescue and extrication represent a critical but variably delivered phase of post-collision care. Decisions made during this phase—such as whether to prioritise self-extrication, rapid assisted extrication, or prolonged technical disentanglement ...

Acquiring and Maintaining Competence in the Application of Extrication Cervical Collars by a Group of First Responders

open access: yes, 2008
Research on skill acquisition and retention in the prehospital setting has focused primarily on resuscitation and defibrillation. Investigation into other first aid skills is required in order to validate practices and support training regimes.
