Analysis of information measures using generalized type-Ⅰ hybrid censored data

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2023
An entropy measure of uncertainty has a complementary dual function called extropy. In the last six years, this measure of randomness has gotten a lot of attention. It cannot, however, be applied to systems that have survived for some time.

Failure Extropy, Dynamic Failure Extropy and Their Weighted Versions [PDF]

open access: yesStochastics and Quality Control, 2021
Abstract Extropy was introduced as a dual complement of the Shannon entropy. In this investigation, we consider failure extropy and its dynamic version. Various basic properties of these measures are presented. It is shown that the dynamic failure extropy characterizes the distribution function uniquely.

Further properties of Tsallis extropy and some of its related measures

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2023
This article introduces the concept of residual and past Tsallis extropy as a continuous information measure within the context of continuous distribution. Moreover, the characteristics and their relationships with other models are evaluated.

Housing Rental Scheme Based on Redactable Blockchain

open access: yesWireless Communications and Mobile Computing, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
With the increase of the housing population, it is very important for renters to find credible housing information through rental platforms. However, due to the imperfection of relevant laws and insufficient supervision of the housing rental market, problems have emerged one after another.

“STARING INTO THE SINGULARITY” AND OTHER POSTHUMAN TALES: TRANSHUMANIST STORIES OF FUTURE CHANGE

open access: yesHistory and Theory, Volume 60, Issue 2, Page 215-233, June 2021., 2021
ABSTRACT In this article, I conduct a contextual analysis of transhumanist conceptions of posthuman futures. Focusing on cryonics, nanotechnology, and artificial superintelligence technological projects through a study of primarily American sources from the 1960s onward, I identify three distinct conceptualizations of the posthuman future: Promethean ...

Continuous Tsallis and Renyi extropy with pharmaceutical market application

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2023
In this paper, the Tsallis and Renyi extropy is presented as a continuous measure of information under the continuous distribution. Furthermore, the features and their connection to other information measures are introduced.

Generalized extropy of $k$-Records: properties and applications [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mahani Mathematical Research
In this paper, we introduce a generalized measure of extropy based on $k$-records and study its properties. We show that several existing extropies, such as survival, negative cumulative, past and weighted extropy are special cases of this generalized ...

Measures of Extropy Based on Concomitants of Generalized Order Statistics under a General Framework from Iterated Morgenstern Family

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
In this work, we reveal some distributional characteristics of concomitants of generalized order statistics (GOS) with parameters that are pairwise different, arising from iterated Farlie–Gumbel–Morgenstern (IFGM) family of bivariate distributions ...

Compressive sensing using extropy measures of ranked set sampling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
The aim of this paper is to consider the extropy measure of uncertainty proposed by Lad, Sanfilippo and Agrò for the problem of compressive sensing. For this purpose, two sampling designs, i.e., simple random sampling (SRS) and a modified version of ...

A transport coefficient: the electrical conductivity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
I describe the lattice determination of the electrical conductivity of the quark gluon plasma. Since this is the first extraction of a transport coefficient with a degree of control over errors, I next use this to make estimates of other transport ...
