XeraBorg: Neural Control of Tail‐Flick Escape for Backward Propulsion in Cyborg Crayfish

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents the first controlled tail‐flick propulsion method for the cyborg Cherax quadricarinatus. Comprehensive experiments establish a foundational framework for using the crayfish's natural escape mechanism as a locomotion strategy, expanding its potential as an underwater and amphibious mobile robot.

Attentional orienting to biologically fear-relevant stimuli: data from eye tracking using the continual alternation flicker paradigm

open access: yes, 2011
Journal of Eye Tracking, Visual Cognition and EmotionSnakes are thought as fear-relevant stimuli (biologically prepared to be associated with fear) which can lead to an enhanced attentional capture when compared fear-irrelevant stimuli.

Gonadotropin‐Inhibitory Hormone (GnIH) and Its Receptor GPR147 Mediates Acute Stress‐Induced Activation of the Locus Coeruleus‐SAM Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Gonadotropin‐inhibitory hormone (GnIH, also known as RFamide‐related peptide‐3, RFRP‐3) is a hypothalamic neuropeptide that regulates vertebrate reproduction via its receptor GPR147. Although GnIH is known to mediate stress‐induced reproductive suppression, its role in broader stress responses remains unclear.

Longitudinal Morphomolecular Monitoring of Head and Neck Carcinogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A miniaturized endoscopic probe that integrates Raman spectroscopy and optical coherence tomography, enabling simultaneous molecular and structural imaging of living tissue, was developed. Applied longitudinally in a mouse model of head and neck cancer, the system tracks disease progression from precancerous lesions to invasive cancer.

Highly Flexible and Conformable ZnO/FeGa Magnetoelectric Heterostructures for Skin wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The magnetic field‐induced electric field generated by a highly flexile ZnO(piezoelectric)/FeGa(magnetostrictive) magnetoelectric heterostructure embedded in the low Young's modulus elastomer PDMS has been used to stimulate the wound healing processes.
