Nonmonotonic Enhancement of Electro‐Optic Properties of Wurtzite AlN Thin Films by Sc Doping

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
EO coefficient, rc, for Sc‐AlN thin films in comparison with that for Mg ZnO thin films (left). Calculated electric field intensity of the fundamental mode supported by the active area that includes Sc‐AlN (right). ABSTRACT Wurtzite ferroelectrics, such as Sc‐doped AlN, have recently attracted considerable attention for their potential in realizing ...

Extrinsic and Intrinsic Charge Transfer at Interfaces of Membrane‐Based Oxide Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Freestanding oxides have emerged as a new opportunity to tailor oxides outside of the typical epitaxial constraints. We present the fabrication of TiO2‐terminated SrTiO3 membranes via direct growth control. We demonstrate competing ionic and electronic charge transfer in LaAlO3/SrTiO3 bilayers using near ambient pressure XPS.

The Impact of Eye Tracking Technology

2020
Eye tracking is a way to measure human eye movements. By using eye tracking technology, the information related to how human eyes are moving from one location to another location and where the person is looking at any given moment can be understood by researchers.

Exploring eye-tracking technology

2020
The accelerated densification of Western European cities driven by economic growth has major spatial implications for their overall livability. Often, new homes must be built within an existing urban fabric, creating higher density environments. However, the impact on the experience of these high-density environments at eye level remains unstudied and ...

Remote Eye Tracking Systems: Technologies and Applications

2013 26th Conference on Graphics, Patterns and Images Tutorials, 2013
Eye tracking is an active multidisciplinary research field, which has shown great progress in the last decades. Eye tracking is the process of monitoring eye movements in order to determine the point of gaze or to analyze motion patterns of an eye relative to the head or the environment. This process provides essential information to tasks such as face
