Post‐Translational Modified Neoantigens in Autoimmune Diseases: Challenges of Immune Tolerance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Autoimmune diseases have a high incidence and disability rate. The pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases involves the interaction among genetic factors, environmental factors, and immune disorders. The post‐translational modified neoantigens are the key nodal of these three factors. And these post‐translational modified neoantigens, after being presented

3D‐Printing of Electroconductive MXene‐Based Micro‐Meshes in a Biomimetic Hyaluronic Acid‐Based Scaffold Directs and Enhances Electrical Stimulation for Neural Repair Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study combined microscale 3D‐printing with 2D Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets to produce electroconductive microfibrous micro‐meshes. By embedding these MXene‐functionalized micro‐meshes within a growth‐supportive macroporous extracellular matrix (ECM)‐based biomaterial, multifunctional biomimetic MXene‐ECM scaffolds were developed.

Perfluorocarbon liquid-assisted intraocular foreign body removal

open access: yesClinical Ophthalmology, 2018
We describe the benefits of perfluoro-N-octane (PFO), a perfluorocarbon liquid, in the removal of nonmagnetic intraocular foreign bodies (IOFBs) from the macula and posterior segment. Two consecutive cases of posterior segment IOFB were reviewed.

Immunocompatible Elastomer With Enhanced Fibrous Capsule‐Resistance and Elasticity by Water‐Induced Surface Phase Reconfiguration.

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a strategy for engineering heterogeneous surface and bulk structures within a single material, termed phase‐separation and underwater reconfiguration‐enhanced (PURE) elastomers. These elastomers combine high bulk elasticity with enhanced immunocompatibility at the surface.

Magnetically Controllable and Degradable Milliscale Swimmers as Intraocular Drug Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Magnetically controllable degradable milliscale swimmers (MDMS) offer a promising alternative to commercial intraocular drug implants, reducing complications like implant dislocation and uncontrolled drug release. MDMS achieve high velocities in ocular environments, enable real‐time imaging, and deliver drugs effectively without disrupting retinal ...
