Reconstruction of eye movements during blinks
In eye movement research in reading, the amount of data plays a crucial role for the validation of results. A methodological problem for the analysis of the eye movement in reading are blinks, when readers close their eyes.

Geometric multi‐bit patterning based on dynamic wetting and dewetting phenomena creates roulette‐like Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) labels with stochastic yet deterministic properties. This method leverages the solutal‐Marangoni effect for high randomness while achieving deterministic multinary patterns through polygonal confinement of binary ...

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

GBA mutations are associated with Rapid Eye Movement Sleep Behavior Disorder
Rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder and GBA mutations are both associated with Parkinson's disease. The GBA gene was sequenced in idiopathic rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder patients (n = 265), and compared to controls (n = 2240).

A Novel Approach to Implementing Artificial Thalamic Neurons with Ferroelectric Transistors
Artificial neurons created using CMOS technology often require a large number of transistors and capacitors. This study introduces an artificial thalamic neuron that employs only five CMOS compatible ferroelectric transistors. The manufactured thalamic neuron demonstrates leaky integrate‐and‐fire‐or‐burst (LIFB) functionalities, featuring self ...

Involuntary eye movement during fixation is essential for visual information acquisition. Previous studies have suggested that such eye movement depends on the attributes of visual stimuli (e.g. Yokota, APCV2010).

Eye&Head: Synergetic Eye and Head Movement for Gaze Pointing and Selection
Eye gaze involves the coordination of eye and head movement to acquire gaze targets, but existing approaches to gaze pointing are based on eye-tracking in abstraction from head motion.
