Reading Decisions from Gaze Direction during Graphics Turing Test of Gait Animation [PDF]
We investigated gaze direction during movement observation. The eye movement data were collected during an experiment, in which different models of movement production (based on movement primitives, MPs) were compared in a two alternatives forced choice task (2AFC). Participants observed side-by-side presentation of two naturalistic 3D-rendered human

Inter‐Layer Diffusion of Excitations in 2D Perovskites Revealed by Photoluminescence Reabsorption
Inter‐layer diffusion of photoexcitations is monitored in thin films of the 2D perovskite (PEA)2PbI4 by tracking time‐dependent changes in photoluminescence spectra induced by photon reabsorption effects. A low out‐of‐plane excitation diffusion coefficient of 0.26 × 10−4 cm2 s−1 is determined through 1D diffusion modeling.

Geometric multi‐bit patterning based on dynamic wetting and dewetting phenomena creates roulette‐like Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) labels with stochastic yet deterministic properties. This method leverages the solutal‐Marangoni effect for high randomness while achieving deterministic multinary patterns through polygonal confinement of binary ...

A Homeostatic Photonic Device Integrating Vapor‐Regulated Thermo‐Optical Feedback Mechanisms
An inorganic homeostatic photonic device is designed to autonomously regulate light, temperature, and vapor sorption through integrated positive and negative feedback mechanisms at multiple wavelengths. The device uses a graded mesoporous 1D photonic crystal coupled with a photothermal layer.

3D Nano‐architected Polymer Shell Enables Reconfigurable Stabilized Blue Phase Soft Crystals
Spherical polymer shells featuring nanostructure of blue phase (BP) disclinations form via in situ photo‐polymerization within BP liquid crystals, providing controlled anchoring for BP nucleation and growth at room temperature and beyond. This architected confinement enhances BP thermal stability over a broad temperature range while enabling dynamic ...
