Self‐Accelerating Bimetallic Peroxide Nanozymes for Cascade‐Amplified Pyroptosis‐Immunotherapy
Acidic tumor microenvironment‐responsive CuZnONPs enable triple‐combination therapy via self‐supplying H2O2, cascade nanozyme activities for ROS burst, and Zn2+‐activated pyroptosis, synergizing catalytic therapy with immunotherapy to convert cold tumors into hot ones.

High glucose triggers corneal endothelial dysfunction by impairing FOXO1‐mediated ITPR1 transcription, leading to disrupted mitochondria‐associated membrane (MAM) integrity and defective ER‐to‐mitochondria Ca2+ transfer. This study develops an innovative viscous DES‐AAV‐Foxo1 delivery system with enhanced transfection efficiency. This non‐invasive gene

Electric‐Current‐Induced Phase Transformation in Cu6Sn5 Below Its Equilibrium Transition Temperature
Electric current induces a monoclinic‐to‐hexagonal phase transformation in Cu6Sn5 at a measured bulk temperature of ∼120°C, below the equilibrium transition temperature. Ex situ synchrotron x‐ray diffraction, TEM, and matched thermal controls show that current stressing promotes the formation of a retained hexagonal η‐phase post‐stress state not ...

Metabolism‐Based Biomarkers for Rapid Phenotypic Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing
Metabolic differences emerging after antibiotic exposure provide rapid phenotypic signals of susceptibility and resistance. This review summarizes metabolic biomarkers for rapid phenotypic AST, associated with nutrient uptake, respiratory activity, metabolic reprogramming, and enzymatic function. ABSTRACT The accelerating global crisis of antimicrobial

Palatable food alleviates stress and prevents anxiety. This study uncovers a dedicated neural pathway: dopamine release in the PFC activates D1R neurons, whose projections to the peri‐PVN engage a population of anxiolytic CRFR1 neurons. These neurons then inhibit stress‐induced hyperactivity of PVNCRF neurons, providing a circuit‐level explanation for ...

ABSTRACT Class Switch Recombination (CSR) is essential for generating high‐affinity antibody isotypes from IgM during adaptive humoral responses. Despite well‐established roles for various transcription factors, whether CSR is subject to dedicated post‐transcriptional control represents a significant gap in knowledge.

Using an Eye Tracker for Accurate Eye Movement Artifact Correction
IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 2007We present a new method to correct eye movement artifacts in electroencephalogram (EEG) data. By using an eye tracker, whose data cannot be corrupted by any electrophysiological signals, an accurate method for correction is developed. The eye-tracker data is used in a Kalman filter to estimate which part of the EEG is of ocular origin.

ACM Symposium on Eye Tracking Research and Applications, 2021
Eye tracking allows us to shed light on how developers read and understand source code and how that is linked to cognitive processes. However, studies with eye trackers are usually tied to a laboratory, requiring to observe participants one at a time, which is especially challenging in the current pandemic.
