Unilateral Poliosis of Eyelashes

A 68-year-old man presented with significant, asymptomatic, unilateral eyelash poliosis, not associated with any ophthalmic or systemic conditions. He reported that this started about 40 years ago with a few lashes in the central portion of his eyelid and that adjacent eyelashes subsequently became involved over the next 4 to 5 days.
