Characterization and Reporting Protocols for Structural Power Composites: A Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Here, the issues for testing and reporting on structural power composites are described: multifunctional materials that can carry loads while providing electrical energy. As well as proposing best practice, the development of a “universal coupon” is recommended for studying these materials and any interactions that occur between the two functions ...

Stabilizing Interfaces of All‐Ceramic Composite Cathodes for Li‐Garnet Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A novel co‐firing approach enables dense, secondary‐phase‐free LiCoO₂–Li₇La₃Zr₂O₁₂ composite cathodes under high lithium and oxygen partial pressures. This strategy reduces interfacial resistance by orders of magnitude and delivers a record areal capacity of 3.48 mAh cm⁻², advancing the development of oxide‐based all‐solid‐state lithium metal batteries.

Using Sensory Analysis and Stated Preference Valuation to Assess the Willingness to Pay for Fresh Tomato Attributes

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study combines sensory analysis and stated preference valuation techniques to assess the monetary value of organoleptic attributes of new tomato varieties. The tomatoes evaluated included two new varieties adapted to South Texas growing conditions, a commercial check, and tomatoes imported from Mexico.
