Investigation of DNA Damage and Apoptosis in Bovine Ocular Squamous Cell Carcinoma. [PDF]

open access: yesVet Med Sci
This is the first study to report an increase in double‐stranded DNA breaks in BOSCC, an important tumoural disease of cattle. In this study, where an increase in DNA oxidation was also shown, we determined that apoptotic defence reactions were reduced, contributing to the pathogenesis.

New Terpenoids from Viguiera dentata: In Silico Pesticide‐Likeness Properties, Acetylcholinesterase Inhibition, Molecular Docking, and Evaluation against Spodoptera frugiperda

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, EarlyView.
The chemical analysis of aerial parts of the melliferous Viguiera dentata led to the isolation of 20 substances, including the new cycloartanes 24‐epi‐argentatin C, 7β‐hydroxy‐24‐epi‐argentatin C, 7β‐hydroxy‐argentatin B. In‐combo results indicated that specific argentatins and ent‐kaurenoic acids have the potential to control Spodoptera frugiperda ...

Harnessing Viral Proteases for Cellular and Molecular Engineering

open access: yesChemistry–Methods, EarlyView.
Engineered viral proteases (VIPs) provide programmable control of protein function with high specificity and low toxicity. Integrated with chemogenetic and optogenetic modules, these VIP systems enable logic gate manipulation for targeted regulation of cell signaling, gene expression, protein secretion, and degradation, thereby offering versatile ...
