“Pseudo-pseudochalazion”: Giant Chalazion Mimicking Eyelid Neoplasm
Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, 2005A 33-year-old man presented with a solid lesion encompassing the entire left upper eyelid. Multiple biopsies revealed lipogranuloma consistent with chalazion. The induration resolved after multiple triamcinolone injections. This is the only case report to our knowledge of a chalazion that involved the entire upper eyelid.

Epigard in the Management of Eyelid Neoplasms
Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Retina, 1981SUMMARY Definitive repair of a surgical wound of the anterior lamella of an eyelid should be delayed in some cases until the surgeon is sure of the histopathologic diagnosis of the lesion and the adequacy of his resection. Apocrine Cystadenoma of the Eyelid: A Rare Palpebral Neoplasm. Report of 2 Cases
Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, 2018The authors report 2 cases of apocrine cystadenoma of the eyelid, 1 of which was studied with immunohistochemical and other special stains. Treatment of Eyelid Epithelial Neoplasm by Targeting Sonic Hedgehog Signaling: An Experimental Study
Japanese Journal of Ophthalmology, 2006To evaluate the effect of cyclopamine, an inhibitor of the Sonic hedgehog (Shh) signal, on the growth of an epithelial neoplasm.Chemically induced eyelid tumors in XPC-null mice (n=40) were treated daily with a subcutaneous injection of cyclopamine (1 mg/animal) for 7 days. The animals were killed after bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) labeling, and the tumors
