GloBIAS survey results – An insight into the global bioimage analysis community
Abstract There is a global need for bioimage analysis (BIA) as advances in life sciences increasingly rely on cutting‐edge imaging systems that have dramatically expanded the complexity and dimensionality of biological images. Turning these data into scientific discoveries requires scientists with effective data management skills and knowledge of state‐

Abstract Transcranial electric stimulation represents a promising non‐invasive neuromodulatory technique targeting maladaptive nociplastic changes in chronic pain (CP) with analgesic effects. However, its impact beyond pain reduction on broader outcomes such as quality of life (QoL) and physical function remains unclear.

Photoprotective potential of gadusol against ultraviolet B radiation in melanocytes
Gadusol protects melanocytes from ultraviolet B (UVB)‐induced damage without cytotoxicity. Abstract The increasing incidence of skin cancer, including melanoma, combined with the need for ultraviolet (UV) filters that are safe for human health and marine ecosystems, is driving the search for new photoprotective agents.

Elevation shapes alpine snow algal blooms and their influence on albedo reduction
Graphical summary of elevational trends in Sanguina‐dominated snow algal blooms. Increasing elevation was associated with larger cells, lower Chla content per cell, higher astaxanthin ratios, lower snow water content, and reduced cell‐normalized albedo, whereas algal cell density showed no consistent elevational trend.

E. coli Extracellular Matrix: A Tunable Composite With Hierarchical Structure
The complex composite‐like mechanical behavior of E. coli biofilm matrix is the result of a synergic contribution of the rigid curli and swelling pEtN‐cellulose, and emerges from specific ratio and assembly conditions. The interactions between the two fibers govern biofilm hydration and characteristic wrinkling patterns, providing crucial insights for ...
