Improved F-contraction of rational type on partial metric spaces [PDF]

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2017
Following the approach of $F$- contraction introduced by Wardowski \cite{DW}, in this paper, we introduce improved $F$-contraction of rational type in the framework of partial metric spaces and used it to obtain a common fixed point theorem for a pair of

Generalized $F$-contractions in Partially Ordered Metric Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2019
We discuss about the generalized $F$-contraction mappings in partially ordered metric spaces. For this, we first introduce the notion of ordered weakly $F$-contraction mapping.

On Recent Results Concerning F-Contraction in Generalized Metric Spaces

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
In this manuscript we discuss, consider, generalize, improve and unify several recent results for so-called F-contraction-type mappings in the framework of complete metric spaces.

Fixed point theorems for rational type $F$-contraction

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2021
In this paper, we consider rational type $F$-contraction for multivalued integral type mapping on a complete metric space. Using Wardowski’s technique, we establish the existence of a fixed point of the multivalued integral type mapping, if this mapping ...

Best proximity point for weak cyclic Kannan type $F-$contraction map and cyclic Chatterjea type $F-$contraction map [PDF]

open access: yesRatio Mathematica
In this paper, we introduce an innovative category of contractions termed "cyclic Chatterjea type $F-$contraction" and "weak cyclic Kannan type $F-$contraction." Subsequently, we establish a theorem for determining the best proximity point in a uniformly

On interpolative F-contractions with shrink map [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2021
AbstractIn this article, we introduce two notions of interpolative F-contractions with shrink map and F-contractions with shrink map. We also study the existence of E-fixed points by using these notations on a metric space endowed with a binary relation.

An electrooptical muscle contraction sensor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
An electrooptical sensor for the detection of muscle contraction is described. Infrared light is injected into the muscle, the backscattering is observed, and the contraction is detected by measuring the change, that occurs during muscle contraction ...

Effect of the contraction ratio upon viscoelastic fluid flow in three-dimensional square-square contractions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this work we investigate the laminar flow through square–square sudden contractions with various contraction ratios (CR¼2.4, 4,8and12), using a Newtonian fluid and a shear-thinning viscoelastic fluid.

On F-Contractions: A Survey

open access: yesContemporary Mathematics, 2022
D. Wardowski proved in 2012 a generalization of Banach Contraction Principle by introducing F-contractions in metric spaces. In the next ten years, a great number of researchers used Wardowski's approach, or some of its modifications, to obtain new fixed point results for single- and multivalued mappings in various kinds of spaces.
