Frontal Slices F1–F13

1988
Frontal section passing 5.5 cm posteriorly by reference to the anterior tuberosity of tibia. The view goes through the most superficial layer of the posterior region of the thigh (1, 2, 10, 12) and the calf (6, 7, 17), as well as through the small saphenous vein (4).

Raw starch digesting amylase from Thermoactinomyces thalpophilus F13

World Journal of Microbiology & Biotechnology, 1996
Thermoactinomyces thalpophilus produced a raw-starch digesting amylase (RSDA) when grown on both cereal and tuber starches. Glucose, maltose and glycerol repressed enzyme production. Highest activity was recorded on rice starch (39 U ml(-1)). Considerable variability existed in the effectiveness of nitrogenous nutrients to stimulate expression of RSDA.

Photoemission from the f12 and f13 configurations

Chemical Physics Letters, 1980
It is shown that fractional parentage coefficients calculated in intermediate coupling provide a quantitative representation of the final-state population produced by photoemission from 4f13. Calculations in LS coupling show significant deviations for both 4f12 and 4f13.

Foveon F13 Camera

2012
Most high-fidelity digital cameras currently available obtain their images using technology where individual pixels can only acquire a single color. Since the acquisition of multiple colors is necessary to capture a full colored image, picture resolution is lost due to difficulties in interpolation between non-adjacent, same color pixels. The resulting

F13 Principles of Hypospadias Surgery

2013
Hypospadias is the commonest congenital urological anomaly, occurring in 1–3 per 1,000 live births. The spectrum of hypospadias anomalies include an abnormal urethral orifice on the ventral aspect of the penis, chordee (ventral curvature of the penis), an incomplete prepuce, an abnormal looking globular glans, rotation of the penis, abnormal raphe, and
