Shot noise spectroscopy on a semiconductor quantum dot in the elastic and inelastic cotunneling regimes

open access: yes, 2013
We report shot noise spectroscopy on a semiconductor quantum dot in a cotunneling regime. The DC conductance measurements show clear signatures of both elastic and inelastic cotunneling transport inside a Coulomb diamond.

Chief factors covered by projectors of soluble Leibniz algebras

open access: yes, 2011
Let F be a saturated formation of soluble Leibniz algebras. Let K be an F-projector and A/B a chief factor of the soluble Leibniz algebra L. It is well-known that if A/B is F-central, then K covers A/B.

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

B -> D* at zero recoil revisited

open access: yes, 2010
We examine the B -> D* form factor at zero recoil using a continuum QCD approach rooted in the heavy quark sum rules framework. A refined evaluation of the radiative corrections as well as the most recent estimates of higher order power terms together ...

Why and When Are Evidence‐Based Interventions Adopted in Paediatric Supportive Care? A Qualitative Exploration of the Determinants of Photobiomodulation Implementation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a common and debilitating side effect of childhood cancer and stem cell transplant treatments. It affects the quality of life of children and young people (CYP) and places a strain on services. Photobiomodulation is recommended for oral mucositis prevention in international guidance but is poorly implemented in UK ...

Optimization for drilling process of metal-composite aeronautical structures

open access: yesScience and Engineering of Composite Materials, 2021
Metal-composite laminates and joints are applied in aircraft manufacturing and maintenance (repairing) using aluminum alloys (AA) and glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP). In these applications, drilling has a prominent place due to its vast application

Conjugacy of one-dimensional one-sided cellular automata is undecidable

open access: yes, 2017
Two cellular automata are strongly conjugate if there exists a shift-commuting conjugacy between them. We prove that the following two sets of pairs $(F,G)$ of one-dimensional one-sided cellular automata over a full shift are recursively inseparable: (i)
