Abstract Russian religious culture has been a constant and prominent element of Rowan Williams’ work. This article demonstrates the affinity of Williams’ metaphysics with the work of two Russian philosopher‐theologians, whose influence on Williams is explicit: Sergii Bulgakov and Aleksei Losev.
