Hydrogel‐Based 3D‐Printable Stretchable Pressure Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We present a carbon‐black‐functionalized double‐network granular hydrogel (DNGH) pressure sensor capable of detecting pressures from 200 Pa, equivalent to a light finger touch, up to 500 kPa. The sensor exhibits signal drifts below 3.5% after 800 cycles and response times around 80 ms. Leveraging this broad sensing range, we 3D print this material into

A comparative study of wormhole geometries under two different modified gravity formalism

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
In the current article, we discuss the wormhole geometries in two different gravity theories, namely $$\texttt{F}(\texttt{Q, T})$$ F ( Q , T ) gravity and $$\texttt{F}(\texttt{R, T})$$ F ( R , T ) gravity.

Spherically symmetric spacetimes in f(R) gravity theories

open access: yes, 2008
We study both analytically and numerically the gravitational fields of stars in f(R) gravity theories. We derive the generalized Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkov equations for these theories and show that in metric f(R) models the Parameterized Post-Newtonian ...

3D Printing of Highly Dense and Translucent Zirconia Parts for Dental Applications: Effect of Filament Overlapping

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study formulated a 5Y‐PSZ zirconia paste for extrusion‐based additive manufacturing via direct ink writing, producing dense ceramic structures for dental applications. A colloidal approach with 47 vol% nanometric powder and tailored additives optimized rheology and printability.

Dark Energy in F(R,T) Gravity

open access: yes, 2020
Since the discovery of cosmic acceleration, modified gravity theories play an important role in the modern cosmology. In particular, the well-known F(R)-theories reached great popularity motivated by the easier formalism and by the prospect to find a ...

A polynomial f(R) inflation model

open access: yes, 2014
Motivated by the ultraviolet complete theory of quantum gravity, for example the string theory, we investigate a polynomial $f(R )$ inflation model in detail.

Overcoming Printing and Interfacial Challenges in Liquid Metal Direct Writing for Integrated Stretchable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Liquid metal direct writing is advanced from a technological and fundamental point. Utilizing a kinematic bed, printing on large surfaces with irregularities is enabled. Furthermore, a pressure‐driven flow during printing is discovered that affects the thickness of traces.

Designing wormholes in novel power-law f(R): a mathematical approach with a linear equation of state

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We consider the inhomogeneous Morris–Thorne wormhole metric with matter tensors characterised by a novel linear equation of state in f(R) gravity. Using the Einstein’s field equations in metric f(R) gravity we model solutions for both wormhole as well as

Stability analysis of f(R)-AdS black holes

open access: yes, 2011
We study the stability of f(R)-AdS (Schwarzschild-AdS) black hole obtained from f(R) gravity. In order to resolve the difficulty of solving fourth order linearized equations, we transform f(R) gravity into the scalar-tensor theory by introducing two ...

Passive Shape‐Adaptive Fluidic Interface for Enhanced Skin‐Sensor Coupling in Wearable Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study presents a passive fluidic interface for wearable biosensors that adapts to static and dynamic body shape changes to maintain consistent skin contact. Flexible, fluid‐filled pouches redistribute pressure from high‐load areas to regions requiring improved contact, enhancing signal quality and comfort in a compact, low‐energy design for ...
