Gödel and Gödel-type solutions in the Palatini f(R,T) gravity theory [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics D, 2020
The Palatini [Formula: see text] gravity theory is considered. The standard Einstein–Hilbert action is replaced by an arbitrary function of the Ricci scalar [Formula: see text] and of the trace [Formula: see text] of the energy-momentum tensor. In the Palatini approach, the Ricci scalar is a function of the metric and the connection.

Numerical behaviour of the Keplerian Integrals methods for initial orbit determination [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
We investigate the behaviour of two recent methods for the computation of preliminary orbits. These methods are based on the conservation laws of Kepler’s problem, and enable the linkage of very short arcs of optical observations even when they are ...

On stability of almost surjective functional equations of uniformly convex Banach spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2023
Let Y be a uniformly convex space with power type p, and let ( G , + ) $(G,+)$ be an abelian group, δ , ε ≥ 0 $\delta ,\varepsilon \geq 0$ , 0 < r < 1 $0 ...

Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) has approved the use of two new drugs, namely Bedaquiline (Bdq) and Delamanid (Dlm), for treatment of Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (DR-TB). One of the concerns raised with the use of these drugs was QT-interval prolongation. This condition could be serious and life threatening. Hence, knowing the magnitude

GÖDEL SOLUTION IN f(R, T) GRAVITY [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 2013
In this paper, we study Gödel universe in the framework of f(R, T) modified theories of gravity, where R is the curvature scalar and T the trace of the energy–momentum tensor. We demonstrate that Gödel solution occurs in this modified theory and still we suggest a path to understanding the smallness of the cosmological constant.

The capability to use cultural cues in order to function effectively in culturally diverse situations has been measured by the fashionable concept of cultural intelligence (CQ) and its four dimensions (metacognitive CQ, cognitive CQ, motivational CQ and behavioral CQ) in a lot of previous studies and research.

Differential response of fast and slow myosin ATPase from skeletal muscle to F-actin and to phalloidin F-actin [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Fast muscle myosin responds in similar way to F-actin and to phalloidin F-actin. It is activated 7.5 fold at infinite F-actin concentration and 6.8 fold at infinite phalloidin F-actin.
