We conclude that thermal optics would not be a viable survey tool for mouse‐sized mammals (19‐41 g) at airfields and other thick grass habitats unless grass height was maintained

Developing a low‐cost drone‐based method for deploying and retrieving autonomous recording units in inaccessible areas

Autonomous recording units (ARUs) are increasingly used for passive acoustic monitoring, but deploying them in remote or inaccessible locations remains challenging.
