In a given number of samples, grassland sward islets contain more species of arthropods than the surrounding sward. When corrected for abundance, there is no difference in species richness, suggesting that the effect of islets might purely be to concentrate arthropods. The community structure differences indicated by non‐metric multidimensional scaling

Characterization of the complete plastid genome of the perennial herb Astragalus complanatus Bunge (Fabales: Fabaceae) [PDF]
Astragalus complanatus Bunge is a perennial herb with high medicinal value, and is endemic to China. The plastid genome of A. complanatus was determined to be 124,213 bp in length with an A + T-biased nucleotide composition (65.7% A + T). The plastid genome harbors a total of 111 genes, including 75 protein-coding, 32 tRNA, and 4 rRNA genes.

Characterization of the Omnivorous Lygus lineolaris Diet in a Strawberry Field by Metataxonomy
This study employs metataxonomy to reveal the extensive omnivorous diet of Lygus lineolaris in a strawberry field, identifying 475 host taxa and confirming active ingestion across plant and prey sources. We introduce a novel coefficient of omnivory, demonstrating the species' strong herbivorous bias while highlighting its dietary flexibility and ...
