Prediction of Fabric Hand from Mechanical Properties of Woven Fabrics

open access: yesSen'i Kikai Gakkaishi (Journal of the Textile Machinery Society of Japan), 1979
A physical method to predict the hand of woven fabrics is introduced. Fourteen physical parameters which can be objectively measured were combined to calculate a hand value for a fabric in conjunction with a graph of logarithmic values of the 14 hand parameters.

RaMBat: Accurate identification of medulloblastoma subtypes from diverse data sources with severe batch effects

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.
