An Optically Transparent, Lightweight, High‐Efficiency, and Ultra‐Broadband Polarization Converter Based on a Low‐Filling‐Factor Metallic Frame Metasurface

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, Volume 9, Issue 8, August 2026.
The graphical abstract presents the unit‐cell architecture of the proposed transparent metasurface polarization converter, featuring a low‐filling‐factor rotated copper frame on PET, an air‐cavity spacer, and an ITO ground plane. The design enables optical transparency, lightweight construction, and ultra‐broadband, high‐efficiency cross‐polarization ...

The Gamma Factory: A New Experimental Paradigm for the Post‐HL‐LHC Era

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 538, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT The Gamma Factory (GF) proposal is motivated by the recognition of a largely untapped potential of the CERN accelerator complex to enable a new research program at the intersection of particle, nuclear, atomic, fundamental, and applied physics. These fields could benefit from novel experimental tools made possible by a future GF facility.
