Block Defocused Spherical Fabry-Perot Interferometer
Applied Optics, 1973A solid Fabry-Perot interferometer with a quasi-confocal resonator has been constructed. The essential characteristics of this interferometer are discussed in relation to its advantages for spectral analysis. These advantages include high resolving power (>10(7)) with satisfactory instrumental finesse (>30) in static mode.

Multiplex Fabry–Perot interferometer: I Theory
Applied Optics, 1995The Multiplex Fabry-Perot Interferometer (MFPI) is a unique instrument, incorporating the wide spectral-bandwidth capability of the Michelson interferometer with the small size and high resolution of the Fabry-Perot interferometer. The MFPI is, structurally, a standard Fabry-Perot in which the scanning distance is allowed to be very large, of the order

Chirped fiber tip Fabry–Perot interferometer
Optics Letters, 2017We demonstrate a novel fiber tip Fabry-Perot (FP) interferometer with a chirped spectral characteristic. The FP interferometer is formed by an etched chirped fiber Bragg grating (FBG) and the fiber tip broadband end-face mirror, and the etched chirped FBG is prepared by a dynamic chemical etching process, shaping the taper and reducing the size from ...

Fabry-Perot interferometers with three mirrors
Applied Optics, 1986The properties of two-mirror Fabry-Perot interferometers can be improved by adding one or more partially reflecting mirrors. In this paper we show how three-mirror Fabry-Perot interferometers provide better control on the shape of the transmission band, the bandwidth, and the suppression of sidebands. We present measurements on three-mirror Fabry-Perot

Dynamic models of Fabry-Perot interferometers
Applied Optics, 2002Long-baseline, high-finesse Fabry-Perot interferometers can be used to make distance measurements that are precise enough to detect gravity waves. This level of sensitivity is achieved in part when the interferometer mirrors are isolated dynamically, with pendulum mounts and high-bandwidth cavity length control servos to reduce the effects of seismic ...

A scanning Fabry-Perot interferometer
Infrared Physics, 1978Abstract A scanning Fabry-Perot interferometer has been constructed for balloon-borne observations at 156 μm. The semi-reflecting surfaces are tightly stretched, electroformed, metallic mesh. Spectral scanning is accomplished by mechanically changing the reflector separation via a moveable carriage sliding on linear ball bearings.

A Scanning Fabry Perot Interferometer
Journal of Optics, 1983A scanning Fabry Perot interferometer is made using a piezoelectric transducer tube (PZT) as a scanning element, and a photodiode as a detector. The paper gives the constructional details of the interferometer and also of the electronic circuit required for obtaining the scanning.

Low-Cost Fabry-Perot Interferometers
American Journal of Physics, 1965This article describes the construction and use of Fabry-Perot devices for use in elementary laboratories. The basic ingredients are microscope cover glasses and inexpensive plate glass. The devices provide moderate resolving power (̃104) at almost no cost.

Double-Passed Fabry-Perot Interferometer
Journal of the Optical Society of America, 1961Increased contrast and resolution can be obtained with the Fabry-Perot interferometer by reflecting the transmitted beams back through the instrument. An arrangement for this purpose is described in which the double-passed interference pattern is isolated by means of a simple polarizing system.
