For some large and complex operating platforms in machinery factories, in order to detect fatigued workers in time, machine vision is adopted for fatigue detection. Normal camera cannot cover the entire working range. So come up with an idea to use an industrial computer to control the pan-tilt for face tracking and fatigue detection.

Dominance detection in face-to-face conversations
2009 IEEE Computer Society Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Workshops, 2009Dominance is referred to the level of influence a person has in a conversation. Dominance is an important research area in social psychology, but the problem of its automatic estimation is a very recent topic in the contexts of social and wearable computing. In this paper, we focus on dominance detection from visual cues.

Face detection is the process of determining the location of human faces in an image. Like human visual system, a face detection system should also be capable of achieving the detection task irrespective of illumination, absence of texture, orientation and camera distance.

Multiscale Face Detection: A New Approach to Robust Face Detection
2006 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems, 2006This paper presents a novel method for detecting multiple frontal faces in still images using multi-scale processing. The main characteristic of this algorithm is its stability in detecting faces with seldom false detections and a high correct detection rate.

To Detect or not to Detect: The Right Faces to Morph
2019 International Conference on Biometrics (ICB), 2019Recent works have studied the face morphing attack detection performance generalization over variations in morphing approaches, image re-digitization, and image source variations. However, these works assumed a constant approach for selecting the images to be morphed (pairing) across their training and testing data. A realistic variation in the pairing

Face detection and eyeglasses detection for thermal face recognition
SPIE Proceedings, 2012Thermal face recognition becomes an active research direction in human identification because it does not rely on illumination condition. Face detection and eyeglasses detection are necessary steps prior to face recognition using thermal images. Infrared light cannot go through glasses and thus glasses will appear as dark areas in a thermal image ...

Face detection for visual surveillance
12th International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing, 2003.Proceedings., 2004In this paper, a real-time face detection system for color image sequences is presented. The system applies three different face detection methods and integrates the obtained results to achieve a greater location accuracy. The first method localizes the human head through outline analysis, focusing the attention of the system on a small image area. The

A Face Detection Based on Face Features
2009Face detection is a key problem in intelligent visual human computer interaction research. It is essential to many applications, for example, human face synthesis, face recognition, face tracking, pose estimation, facial expression recognition and object oriented image coding.

A novel Genetic Programming approach for the improvement of the performance of classifier systems through the synthesis of new training instances is presented. The approach relies on the ability of the Genetic Programming engine to identify and exploit shortcomings of classifier systems, and generate instances that are misclassified by them.

This paper proposes a novel, simple and efficient method for face segmentation which works by coupling face detection and segmentation in a single framework. We use the OBJCUT [1] formulation that allows for a smooth combination of object detection and Markov Random Field for segmentation, to produce a real-time face segmentation.
