Automatic Segmentation of Facial Regions of Interest and Stress Detection Using Machine Learning
Stress is a factor that affects many people today and is responsible for many of the causes of poor quality of life. For this reason, it is necessary to be able to determine whether a person is stressed or not. Therefore, it is necessary to develop tools

Structural models for face detection [PDF]
Despite the success in the last two decades, the state-of-the-art face detectors still have problems in dealing with images in the wild for the large appearance variations. Instead of taking appearance variations as black boxes and leaving them to statistical learning algorithms, we propose a structural face model to explicitly represent them.

Enhanced Face Detection Using Multi-Cascade Face Detection and Deep Ladder Neural Network [PDF]
For robust face recognition, A novel hybrid approach is present in this paper. This hybrid system is a combination of Multi-task Cascaded Convolutional Neural Networks (MTCNN). This combined system use Deep Ladder Imputation Networks (DLIN).

Individual differences in hyper-realistic mask detection
Hyper-realistic masks present a new challenge to security and crime prevention. We have recently shown that people’s ability to differentiate these masks from real faces is extremely limited.

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

ABSTRACT Background Children with sickle cell disease (SCD) face multiple acute and chronic medical complications that may impact their quality of life as reported by patients themselves. Health‐related social needs (HRSNs), such as food and housing insecurity, are common in people with SCD, but the association between HRSNs and patient‐reported ...
