DTFA-Net: Dynamic and Texture Features Fusion Attention Network for Face Antispoofing
For face recognition systems, liveness detection can effectively avoid illegal fraud and improve the safety of face recognition systems. Common face attacks include photo printing and video replay attacks.

ABSTRACT Purpose Retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common pediatric ocular cancer, yet population‐based data on survival and risk factors remain limited. This study aimed to describe survival in a large national RB cohort and identify predictors of death and complications.

Assentication: User Deauthentication and Lunchtime Attack Mitigation with Seated Posture Biometric
Biometric techniques are often used as an extra security factor in authenticating human users. Numerous biometrics have been proposed and evaluated, each with its own set of benefits and pitfalls.

Towards anomaly detection for increased security in multibiometric systems: spoofing-resistant 1-median fusion eliminating outliers [PDF]
Multibiometrics aims at improving biometric security in presence of spoofing attempts, but exposes a larger availability of points of attack. Standard fusion rules have been shown to be highly sensitive to spoofing attempts – even in case of a single ...

Generalized Face Liveness Detection via De-Fake Face Generator
Previous Face Anti-spoofing (FAS) methods face the challenge of generalizing to unseen domains, mainly because most existing FAS datasets are relatively small and lack data diversity. Thanks to the development of face recognition in the past decade, numerous real face images are available publicly, which are however neglected previously by the existing

Liveness Detection for Face Recognition
We investigate eyeblinks as a liveness detection clue against photo spoofing in face recognition. The advantages of eyeblink-based method are non-intrusion, no requirement of extra hardware. Undirected conditional graphical framework, which assumes dependencies among the observations and states, is employed to model eyeblink.

ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.

ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.

ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours
