Non-Visual to Visual Translation for Cross-Domain Face Recognition
Reducing the cross-modality gap between two different domains is a challenging problem for heterogeneous face recognition (HFR). The current visual domain face recognition system is not easy to solve the discrepancy of cross-modality when two comparing ...

An Improved Siamese Network for Face Sketch Recognition [PDF]
Face sketch recognition identifies the face photo from a large face sketch dataset. Some traditional methods are typically used to reduce the modality gap between face photos and sketches and gain excellent recognition rate based on a pseudo image which is synthesized using the corresponded face photo.

Face Sketch Creation and Recognition
Abstract: This paper presents a wisdom mapping approach to dissect the thematic elaboration of face recognition exploration. For this reason, different bibliometric tools are combined (Performance analysis, wisdom mapping and Coword analysis) to identify the most important, productive and loftiest- -impact sub fields.

Face Sketch Recognition Using Computer Vision
Now-a-days need for technologies for identification, detection and recognition of suspects has increased. One of the most common biometric techniques is face recognition, since face is the convenient way used by the people to identify each-other. Understanding how humans recognize face sketches drawn by artists is of significant value to both criminal ...

Treatment Decision‐Making Roles and Preferences Among Adolescents and Young Adults With Cancer
ABSTRACT Background Decision‐making (DM) dynamics between adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer, parents, and oncologists remain underexplored in diverse populations. We examined cancer treatment DM preferences among an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse group of AYAs and their parents.

ABSTRACT Background Parents of children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience significant caregiver burden and disruption to their well‐being. While parent quality of life (QoL) during treatment is well characterized, little is known about outcomes during early survivorship.

Learning Domain-Invariant Discriminative Features for Heterogeneous Face Recognition
Heterogeneous face recognition (HFR), referring to matching face images across different domains, is a challenging problem due to the vast cross-domain discrepancy and insufficient pairwise cross-domain training data.

ABSTRACT Secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) is a common complication in patients receiving maintenance dialysis, driven by calcium and phosphate metabolism disturbances. Calcimimetics are central to the management of SHPT by enhancing calcium‐sensing receptor sensitivity and reducing parathyroid hormone secretion.
