Face verification through tracking facial features

Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2001
We propose an algorithm for face verification through tracking facial features by using sequential importance sampling. Specifically, we first formulate tracking as a Bayesian inference problem and propose to use Markov chain Monte Carlo techniques for obtaining an empirical solution.

Face tracking with convolutional neural network heat-map

International Conference on Machine Learning and Soft Computing, 2018
In this paper, we apply a heat-map approach for human face tracking. We utilize the heat-map extracted from the convolutional neural networks (CNN) for face / non-face classification problem.

Face retrieval in face track using sparse representation

2018 International Workshop on Advanced Image Technology (IWAIT), 2018
One popular approach for working on video datasets is to use face tracks [1, 2], face sequence containing faces of one person, for matching instead of single face as in static image datasets. In this article, we propose face track retrieval using sparse representation. At first, every image of face tracks is normalized to uniform size. Then, feature is

A face tracking method using feature point tracking

2012 International Conference on Information Security and Intelligent Control, 2012
In the paper, we proposed a face tracking method using feature point tracking. The proposed face tracking method is composed of two parts: face detection and face tracking. To evaluate the proposed method, several videos containing different kinds of face movement are captured by using low-cost webcam. Experimental results show that our proposed method

Eye Tracking Unconscious Face-to-Face Confrontations

Psychological Science, 2011
In primates, dominance/submission relationships are generally automatically and nonaggressively established in face-to-face confrontations. Researchers have argued that this process involves an explicit psychological stress-manipulation mechanism: Striding with a threatening expression, while keeping direct eye contact, outstresses rivals so that they

500-fps face tracking system

Journal of Real-Time Image Processing, 2012
In this paper, we propose a high-speed vision system that can be applied to real-time face tracking at 500 fps using GPU acceleration of a boosting-based face tracking algorithm. By assuming a small image displacement between frames, which is a property of high-frame rate vision, we develop an improved boosting-based face tracking algorithm for fast ...

Active face and feature tracking

Proceedings 10th International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing, 2003
This paper describes a method for the detection and tracking of human face and facial features. Skin segmentation is learnt from samples of an image. After detecting a moving object, the corresponding area is searched for clusters of pixels with a known distribution.

Robust multi-view face tracking

2005 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems, 2005
For face tracking in a video sequence, various face tracking algorithms have been proposed. However, most of them have a difficulty in finding the initial position and size of a face automatically. In this paper, we present a fast and robust method for fully automatic multi-view face detection and tracking.
