Constructing conformally invariant equations using Weyl geometry [PDF]

A new method for the construction of conformally invariant equations in an arbitrary four dimensional (pseudo-) Riemannian space is presented. Subtle relict channels associated with large dolines in an area formerly beneath the Laurentide Ice Sheet, northern Ohio, USA

Low‐relief dry channels appear out of place across a glaciated karst landscape in northern Ohio. Channels are only a few metres deep cut into limestone and draped with a veneer of till. Ectopic thyroid carcinoma in the left atrium in a horse

Summary A 25‐year‐old Irish sport horse was presented for investigation of a 7‐day history of apathy and lethargy. Clinical examination revealed tachycardia, tachypnoea, distended, pulsating jugular veins and ventral oedema. Serum biochemistry showed azotaemia.
