Disentangling climatic and anthropogenic controls on global terrestrial evapotranspiration trends

open access: yesEnvironmental Research Letters, 2015
We examined natural and anthropogenic controls on terrestrial evapotranspiration (ET) changes from 1982 to 2010 using multiple estimates from remote sensing-based datasets and process-oriented land surface models.

Identification of Colour Reconnection using Factorial Correlator [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
A new signal is proposed for the colour reconnection in the hadronic decay of W+ W- in e+e- collisions. Using Pythia Monte Carlo it is shown that this signal, being based on the factorial correlator, is more sensitive than the ones using only averaged ...

Multifunctional Nano Immunostimulant: Overcoming Immunosuppressive Microenvironment for Antitumor Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional nano immunostimulant is first proposed for efficient tumor immunotherapy. The ER targeted ability, superior ROS production, efficient GSH consumption, coupled with the HIF suppression, jointly arouses ICD/ferroptosis pathways to realize efficient tumor immunotherapy.

Toward a new model of human resource management practices: construction and validation of the High Wellbeing and Performance Work System Scale

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2023
IntroductionThe integrated mutual gains model suggests five provisional sets of human resource management (HRM) practices that should benefit both employees and organizations and, as such, be explicitly designed to have a positive impact on wellbeing ...

Factory life cycle evaluation through integrated analysis of factory elements

open access: yesProcedia CIRP, 2021
In consequence of the technological advances of the last few decades, factories emerged to highly complex systems that consist of numerous factory elements like production machines, technical building services and the building shell. These factory elements are characterized by individual life cycles that differ in their duration and life cycle behavior.

Cortical Somatostatin Neurons Regulate Seizure Susceptibility via MINAR1/Gαs–cAMP Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our study identifies MINAR1 as a novel regulator of cortical interneuron excitability and seizure susceptibility. MINAR1 is preferentially expressed in SST+ interneurons. Genetic ablation of MINAR1 leads to seizure hypersensitivity, reduced SST+ neuron excitability, and impaired Gαs–cAMP signaling, disrupting the E/I balance.

Cascade‐Responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF Heterostructure Integrates Antioxidant Activity, Infection Control, and Vascularization for Tracheal Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cascade‐responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF/GelMA hydrogel is engineered as a “skeleton–backpack” platform for extensive tracheal repair. The MXene framework scavenges postoperative ROS and converts NIR light into mild hyperthermia, while the Cu‐MOF component provides pH/NIR‐responsive Cu2+ dosing for infection control, angiogenesis, and chondrogenesis.
