STATISTICAL OPTIMIZATION OF MICONAZOLE NITRATE MICROEMULGEL BY USING 23 FULL FACTORIAL DESIGN

open access: yesInternational Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Research, 2021
Miconazole nitrate is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent, poorly water-soluble drug and it is used for treatment of superficial fungal infections. Microemulgel could increase drug deposition over to the skin. Therefore, the aim of this study was to prepare 2% miconazole nitrate transparent microemulgel that contains 99% w/w liquid. Preliminary screening

Design and Analysis of Fractional Factorial Experiments From the Viewpoint of Computational Algebraic Statistics [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Theory and Practice, 2012
We give an expository review of applications of computational algebraic statistics to design and analysis of fractional factorial experiments based on our recent works. For the purpose of design, the techniques of Gr bner bases and indicator functions allow us to treat fractional factorial designs without distinction between regular designs and non ...

Remote Monitoring in Myasthenia Gravis: Exploring Symptom Variability

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a rare, autoimmune disorder characterized by fluctuating muscle weakness and potential life‐threatening crises. While continuous specialized care is essential, access barriers often delay timely interventions. To address this, we developed MyaLink, a telemedical platform for MG patients.

Trends in Dermatopolymyositis Mortality, 1999–2022: A Nationwide Population‐Based Study, United States

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
We report the national burden of dermatopolymyositis mortality over the past quarter century using the US national vital statistics data. Age‐standardized mortality rates for dermatopolymyositis decreased at an annual rate of 3.8% each year, which was higher than the annual percent decrease for deaths from all other causes.

Statistical Optimization of Urinary Organic Acids Analysis by a Multi-Factorial Design of Experiment [PDF]

open access: yesAnalytica, 2020
The analysis of urinary organic acids is useful for patients suspected to have inborn errors of metabolism known as organic acidurias. These diseases cause an accumulation of organic acids in body fluids and their abnormal excretion in urines. By means of chemometrics tools, such as principal component analysis and multiple linear regression, it was ...
